Flexible implement carrier and strong towing vehicle in one – that is why the Mercedes-Benz Unimog really gets going in all agricultural sectors. Faster, more flexible and more cost effective than any tractor or truck. It starts when machines are used. Here, with its high maximum weight of up to 16 t, the Unimog allows you to work with heavy machine combinations. Its great payload and outstanding driving stability even make it possible to use large volume manure or fertiliser spreaders and sprinklers with boom widths of up to 36 m.
Safe and comfortable driving over difficult ground is guaranteed by the chassis concept with all-wheel drive, differential locks in both axles and up to 24-gear transmission. And what is of great importance for soft ground: With the tyre pressure control system tirecontrol you can adjust the tire pressure to the ground at the touch of a button. This means that you always have first-rate traction so that you reduce field damage caused by too low or too high tyre pressures. Heat-insulated glass, standard delivery air conditioner and sun blinds provide the best working climate in the comfortable cab. Dust or pollen filters as well as a switch for re-circulating the air reduce the irritants in the cab. And best of all: After the job is finished, the Unimog takes you quickly from one place to the next – with up to 90 km/h and a total haulage weight of 40 t with 1 or 2 trailers.
