Attachment and Body Mounting Areas

Unlimited possibilities

Attachment and Mounting Areas
The Unimog U 300/U 400/U 500 was designed, first and foremost, for professional implement-carrying. In other words for a multitude of almost unlimited applications. With its three attachment areas and an additional area for mounting bodies, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog proves to be an unique and highly versatile platform for varying implement combinations. The result is a perfect working unit – to suit your special needs.
Frame design
The basis for the Unimog's flexible all-year-around qualities lies in its straight ladder-type frame. It not only provides maximum stability due to its high degree of rigidity and torsional resistance, but thanks to its integrated attachment points and pre-marked hole patterns, mounting implements is made easy. This provides additional safety even when great demands are involved.
Defined attachment points
For all attachment and body mounting areas – already compatible with your existing implements
3 Attachment areas
At the standard front attachment plate, between the axles and at the rear. Suitable for diverse implements.
1 Body mounting area, 3 options
With or without a tipper/drop-side body – the body mounting area with 3 options is extremely flexible. Firstly, existing implements can be installed on the tipper/drop-side body. Secondly, new implements can be mounted directly onto the sub-frame's ball-type fastening points. And thirdly, permanent superstructures or seasonally changing implements can be mounted directly onto the frame.
